This decision has been taken after reviewing the performance of the umpires in the last one season in international cricket. Due to his calm decision-making ability and ability to handle pressure in high-quality matches, he has been given responsibility in regular ICC tournaments and bilateral series as well. Nitin Menon remains the only Indian umpire to be among the world’s top umpires, as the ICC announced no changes to the elite panel for the 2026-27 season.
