Over the years he has built a remarkable record in Test cricket and continues to add new milestones to his name. This time Root completed 14 thousand runs in Test cricket.

His total Test runs currently stand at 14,075. The former England captain became the second cricketer in the world after Sachin Tendulkar to complete 14,000 runs in Tests.

Root played at an average of 50.81. He scored 41 centuries and 67 fifties. On the other hand, Sachin has played 200 matches in his career. The master blaster scored 15,921 runs in 329 innings.
