New Delhi: Speculation was going on, that speculation came true. IPL(Indian Premier League) is not even a month from the end of the season. But a big change has already happened. However, Delhi bid for him in the 2025 auction as well. But in the end Panth was taken to the team by Lucknow Super Giants for a record 27 crore rupees. He could not bring much success to the team in two seasons in Lucknow. Lucknow did not reach the playoffs even in one season under his leadership. Even before the end of the IPL season, there were whispers of him leaving the team. Finally that whisper turned into reality. However, Panth returned to his former team for Tk 15 crore, much less than Tk 27 crore.
On the other hand, instead of Pant, Kuldeep Yadav joined the hometown franchise in a trade for Rs 13.5 crore. Kuldeep joined IPL 2022 for Delhi Capitals. Kuldeep took 72 wickets in 65 matches in five seasons for that franchise. But this time he will be seen in Lucknow jersey from next season after leaving Delhi. This will undoubtedly rank among the biggest trades in IPL history.
