Mullanpur: Fifth all-time highest score in a season in IPL history, came close to a century in both knock out matches but fell short of the century. All at the age of 15. In this season (IPL 2026) Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has wasted everything. Even failed to win the team. Vaibhav got emotional when Rajasthan Royals lost against Gujarat Titans in IPL qualifier 2.
Vaibhav scored 776 runs at an average of 48.50 this season. Five fifties and a century in the season. He could not win the team despite playing 96 runs in Qualifier 2. After such a memorable season, Vaibhav was naturally emotional at the thought of returning empty-handed.
Out of the park, a win in the bag 👊@gujarat_titans reach the final in a sublime fashion 🤩💙

After the match, when Rajasthan Royals captain Ryan Parag was speaking at the award ceremony, Vaibhav was seen sitting alone in the dugout. Vibhava somehow covers his emotional face with a handkerchief as the camera pans towards him. He was later seen comforting one of the Royals’ support staff.
Chin up, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi! 🩷
You have so much to be proud of 🥹

But this season of splendor will be forever memorable. As that youngest batter IPL‘Orange Cap’ can win. Also, Vaibhav’s innings of 96 runs in Qualifier 2 helped him create multiple histories.
